David has 33 years of consulting experience, including a unique combination of geotechnical project management, technical expertise, and operations for public and private clients. He has conducted and managed geotechnical investigations and analyses for a variety of infrastructure projects and buildings, ranging from pump stations to dams and levees, water/wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, and transportation projects.
Passionate about mitigating risk, David worked on the design and construction of new levees in south Louisiana, post-Hurricane Katrina. He’s also supporting the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) on their Orange County (TX) Coastal Storm Risk Management and Ecosystem Restoration project, providing value engineering expertise.
During his free time, David and his wife volunteer on a K-9 search and rescue team to search for missing people, something that combines his love of being outdoors, hiking, working with dogs, and providing an important service to the community.
