Mark, a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute, has over 36 years of experience with town planning, urban design, and building conservation. He’s known for taking creative approaches to the initiation, design, and delivery of a variety of projects.
Recently, Mark has been involved in promoting density appropriate responses to town and city center regeneration and diversification, as well as problem solving related to urban extensions and major residential developments. He’s passionate about designing attractive and engaging environments that influence the way we live—he views sustainability as a core value. Mark has also been responsible for several award-winning projects including Bristol Legible City, Temple Quay, the City Centre Strategy, and the Living in the City Initiative.
Mark enjoys creating music as a longtime songwriter and performer, and, according to his partner, has an ‘unhealthy’ obsession with guitars.
