Growing up riding the subway, catching the bus, and cycling around town, Esteban cemented his deep appreciation for the urban environment and the importance of multimodal transportation. Esteban is a licensed civil engineer with nearly 10 years of experience, specializing in highway, transit, and urban design.
Esteban has been involved in a diverse range of projects. On the Long Island Rail Road Mainline Expansion project, he led a team of engineers to provide civil design services for seven at-grade crossing eliminations, five bridge replacements, and proposed station siteworks along the project corridor. Equipped with vast highway engineering experience, Esteban often serves as an assistant project manager and design task lead on highway projects for the New York State Department of Transportation, Texas Department of Transportation, and other public agencies.
Mentored by competent and compassionate leaders throughout his career, Esteban understands that the key to success is lifting those around him. He shares technical knowledge with younger team members and provides opportunities for them to shine.
Outside of work, Esteban enjoys road cycling, finding new music via local concerts, and traveling.
