Emma began with Stantec as an intern during her last year of graduate school at Philadelphia University, where she graduated with a masters degree in Interior Architecture. She later signed on full time after completing her internship, and she’s continued her work in the healthcare design field on projects for AtlantiCare, Southern Ocean Medical Center, and Shore Medical Center.
With a focus on client-facing work, Emma is most at home in design development meetings. She creates client presentations, manages deliverables, and coordinates with equipment and furniture vendors to make sure clients receive the finishings their projects need. During design development, Emma and her clients collaborate to create mockups that capture what the client needs in spaces like exam rooms, patient rooms, and layouts.
When she isn’t planning and designing healthcare projects, Emma finds time to learn new cooking techniques and test out different recipes. Plus, it’s her goal to go on one big trip each year—at least.
