Jason is an environmental professional with over 25 years of consulting experience. With extensive experience collecting data in the field and obtaining regulatory authorizations across the United States, he’s designed and implemented studies evaluating upland, wetland, riverine and other habitats. These studies have evaluated potential effects of conservation efforts and residential, commercial, and industrial development.
As a National Environmental Policy Act specialist, Jason has represented client applicants and served as part of agency third-party teams for the Federal Energy Regulation Commission, Federal Aviation Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, Federal Highway Administration, Tennessee Valley Authority, and other agencies. He has successfully obtained dredge and fill authorizations from multiple U.S. Army Corps of Engineers districts and coordinated federal species concurrences or agreements with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Well-versed in regional, state, and local regulations throughout the southern states, his work includes compliance with National Pollution Discharge Elimination System programs, wetland and stream authorizations, state-listed species, and other compliance requirements.
Jason is an avid gardener and amateur rosarian. When he isn’t working or in the garden, he is a voracious reader of books of just about any genre.
