Brian has an affinity for problem solving. As a brownfield specialist, this means leading brownfield and redevelopment programs that assess and plan for environmental risk mitigation on sites. He loves the unique solutions needed for each site and tailored redevelopment plans that bring new uses to a community asset.
Brian helps communities leverage U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) brownfield grants, serving as a liaison and technical expert across federal, state, and local jurisdictions. His projects often take years to move through assessment, clean-up, and redevelopment, resulting in deep client relationships rooted in a long-term vision. He has worked on hundreds of environmental site assessments, hydrological investigations, as well as the groundwater, soil, and vapor remediation solutions across the Southeast.
In his free time, you’ll find Brian hunting for vintage items in support of his wife’s business or cheering on his kids at sporting events.
