Having worked at Stantec for 16 years, Glen creates specialty grounding studies for high voltage substations and transmission lines. He also completes projects across North America including cable ampacity studies for wind farm collector systems.
Glen’s philosophy is that if it is not done right, it is not worth doing. In his work, Glen is detail-driven, making sure his team and clients have all the information they need to understand design decisions. He is skilled at using Current Distribution, Electromagnetic Interference, Grounding and Soil Structure Analysis (CDEGS) software. Recently presenting a technical paper to the CDEGS user group, Glen is also part of an industry working group focused on grounding analysis and study methods specific to high voltage substations and large extended grounding systems.
Outside of work, Glen enjoys spending time with his family, playing sports with his kids, and volunteering at his church.
