As an environmental engineer with our water group in Pasadena, Tori’s work is focused on a variety of water treatment design, conveyance design, and water resources planning projects.
Tori believes that design is inherently connected to the natural, built, and sociopolitical environment—and that engineers work best when they understand how all three connect to their work. She aims to apply this curiosity about the details, and how the details fit together, to all her work. Understanding the importance of collaborative decision-making for sustainable solutions, she sees how vital it is for engineers to approach problems with humility and the knowledge that our perspective is only one of many in terms of how water resources and infrastructure decisions should be made.
Outside of work, Tori loves spending as much time as she can outside—preferably with her dog. She’s an avid climber and can often be found in Angeles National Forest on the weekends.
