Eric has worked with us over the course of his entire engineering career. Now, he’s a geotechnical practice leader who oversees the delivery of geotechnical services and solutions for our partners and clients in the US North Central region. His project experience includes roadways, bridges, geohazards—such as landslides, rockfall, and abandoned mine settling—dams, levees, and water and wastewater treatment plants, among others.
As a senior principal and geotechnical practice lead, Eric provides project leadership for clients such as the Ohio Department of Transportation, U.S. Federal Highway Administration, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and local counties and municipalities. His design for a repair to a landslide that had caused a road closure in Adams County, Ohio, was a project highlight for him. When he saw a social media post about the road reopening, it drove home the importance of these kinds of projects to people living nearby.
When he’s not designing geotechnical solutions, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, five children, and two golden doodles. He like to walk his dogs, work out, watch sports, and get in a round of golf when he can.
