Orlando is a technology professional with more than 24 years of experience. His core areas of interest include cloud and web-based development, IOT, AI, digital twin, and mixed reality. An experienced manager who has supervised teams in multiple countries, Orlando’s skills in agile methodology, DevSecOpS, continuous delivery, and business integration leads him to build solutions that delight clients.
In his role as director of solution architecture, Orlando develops and maintains a vision for our products and is responsible for leading the implementation of that vision across our large global team spanning Stantec IT, business lines, and the Innovation Office. He also consults and collaborate with Stantec IT to implement and maintain our digital services cloud, computing architecture, and continuous development processes.
Orlando is an independent filmmaker and during his time working in the Cayman Islands, he was an editor on a feature film—something that has given him the bug to produce and direct his own movies. Now that he resides in Canada, he loves using the mountains as a backdrop for his work.
