A passionate leader, Zahra has over 26 years of experience in bridge asset management, bridge and structural engineering, inspection, and steel structure fabrication fields. She’s played a major role in many bridge and transportation sector projects, including the implementation of a bridge management system for the Government of New Brunswick and high-level bridge evaluation and inspection, and led the Fort Hill overpass bridge design and construction.
Not only Zahra has provided clients in different sectors with structural solutions, she’s also trained them around Canada and internationally to manage their assets. Zahra has researched structural resiliency under extreme weather and conditions and collaborated in developing resiliency indices and new bridge management reports. A certified bridge and weld inspector, she’s a trainer for comprehensive bridge Ontario Structure Inspection Manual (OSIM) inspection training. She is an active committee member of International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) bridge management committee as well as Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) asset management committee.
A wife and a mother, you’re likely to find Zahra enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with her friends when she’s not working.
