As a senior wastewater process engineer, John is focused on process design and the control of advanced biological nutrient removal and biosolids processes. He’s performed extensive research on stochastic process modeling and control of activated sludge processes and on the codigestion of municipal sludge and fat, oil, and grease (FOG) under conventional and advanced digestion.
John is passionate about designing innovative and cost-effective treatment solutions for communities. He has served as a reviewer and contributing author to Water Environment Federation (WEF) manuals of practice, has over sixty publications in national and international journals and conference proceedings, and has served as an associate editor for the WEF Journal of Water Environment Research.
In his free time, John likes to travel and to spend time with family and friends.
