Following six years as a local authority planning officer, Alex moved into consultancy in 2012. Using her working knowledge of local authority processes and procedures, she brings insight and technical knowledge to projects across London and the South of England. From initial site appraisals and due diligence through the full range of planning applications and appeals to delivery on site, Alex is a valuable member of any consultant team. She also promotes sites through the local planning process and participates in examinations, successfully securing site allocations in local and neighborhood plans.
Alex is passionate about creating new and improving existing communities, whether this be large-scale new neighborhoods such as Mowbray in Horsham or the regeneration of existing communities at the Ocean Estate in Tower Hamlets. She works with a range of developers, registered providers, landowners, and local authorities to develop and deliver integrated planning strategies that optimize benefits and secure positive outcomes for clients and communities.
Alex spends her time outside of work watching her sons play sport, walking her dog, and occasionally attempting to play golf.
