Based in Salt Lake City, Kelly is a registered professional geologist with a technical specialty in geochemistry. She has nearly two decades of experience specializing in the geochemistry of heavy metals in the environment.
Kelly’s areas of expertise include mine site assessment, the sorption and desorption processes that impact the transport of heavy metals in the environment, analysis of acid rock drainage generation, geochemical modeling, and bioremediation processes. She’s developed and completed various geochemical studies and has extensive experience in the analysis of geologic, chemical and hydrologic data, as well as developing characterization programs in both the laboratory and field setting. Kelly’s field experience includes team management, environmental sampling, drilling operations, and core logging capability for environmental and exploration drilling operations.
When she’s not working, Kelly enjoys hiking, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, gardening, knitting, and spending time with friends and family.
