Mehdi is a senior principal with four decades of experience working on major high-rise and supertall buildings, hospitality facilities, civic and assembly venues, projects for educational and government clients, and central cooling, heating, and electric plants. He provides executive oversight on projects around the world including Jeddah Tower in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, designed to be the world’s tallest building and the centerpiece of Kingdom City.
An international speaker and presenter, Mehdi has published numerous articles and books within the industry. He leads his team to develop innovative and cost-effective building systems design solutions to improve energy efficiency and air quality, reduce lifetime costs, enhance comfort and productivity, and increase system reliability.
Outside of work, Mehdi enjoys spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren grow. He has a deep appreciation for soccer and can often be spotted on the sidelines at a Chicago Fire game.
