A hands-on, multi-discipline project manager, Jamshid (JJ) continually leads some of the most complex transportation projects in Texas. His four decades of experience include 17 years at the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), resulting in an instinctive understanding of their culture, processes, and needs.
JJ thrives on unique and complex design challenges such as the Loop 375 project he managed which touches the US border with Mexico and involved seven federal agencies, 14 local agencies, and four railroad companies. Known for being honest, transparent, and client-oriented, JJ’s focus is finding the best solutions for his clients while effectively managing his internal design team, subconsultants, and outside agencies.
Watching his contractor dad build roads, bridges, and buildings, JJ started building his own roads and houses in playgrounds by the time he turned six. Today, he enjoys working at Stantec where roadway, drainage, traffic, environmental, transit, railroad, and survey work can all be done in one place. Outside of the office, JJ loves playing tennis and soccer with his family and friends.
