Mark discovered early on that he had a love for drawing, tinkering, and solving problems. Wanting to channel this into a career that would benefit our communities, he looked to architecture. Since then, he has amassed more than two decades of experience leading projects ranging from small renovations under $1 million, to large and complex jobs valued at more than $100 million.
With a background focused mostly on educational design—and as a parent of school-age children—Mark’s greatest pride is knowing that his creative contributions to today’s learners have a meaningful impact on our future leaders. He enjoys working with talented people toward a common goal, such as partnering with Alvin Independent School District to design an environment that supports a forward-thinking shift in the instructional model and puts learning on display.
Outside of work, Mark is an outdoors aficionado. Camping, hiking, fishing, yard work, or even just relaxing—he views it all as the perfect way to refill his cup.
