With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and 30 years of professional experience across diverse sectors, Diane understands projects down to the finest detail. She also knows that project success is based on simple principles, like partnering with clients in developing work strategies that align a project’s schedule and budget. Praised by clients for her ability to organize teams to stick to project schedules, Diane believes that communication, collaboration, and trust are critical to effective client relationships.
Prior to joining Stantec, Diane wrote and presented extensively on her work successfully managing quality on the $400 million Sydney, Nova Scotia, Tar Ponds and Coke Ovens Remediation Project. She now provides project management leadership to Stantec clients on projects such as Nalcor Energy’s Lower Churchill Project: including, the Muskrat Falls 2012 Historic Resources Mitigation, Regulatory Compliance - Labrador (2013 – 18), and Environmental Effects Monitoring (2013-17); and the Newfoundland provincial government Confederation Building East Block Mechanical and Electrical Update Project.
