Christina helps clients understand risk posed to their communities by natural hazards and delivers tailored strategies to reduce risk while adapting to climate impacts. As a senior resilience planner, she's managed projects that focus on communicating climate hazard risk information, developing flood risk reduction strategies, and assessing asset vulnerability to hazards.
In her position, Christina works on Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) hazard mitigation plans, climate adaptation plans, vulnerability assessments, and infrastructure resilience studies. She's supported clients at the state, local, and tribal levels across North America and in the Pacific. Christina is also part of a team that supports FEMA in implementing its flood risk mitigation planning program.
