A registered nurse and an architectural technologist, Shannon has always had a passion for design that puts patients and caregivers at the center of all options. As a consultant, she draws on her clinical background and experience to enhance healthcare design, creating a functional and operational space for patients.
Shannon has held leadership roles in clinical consulting and planning, directing equipment planning, project management, and operational readiness for many large healthcare projects. She focuses on planning, functional design, discipline coordination, implementation, and operationalization of clinically focused healthcare solutions. Her work with the Norway House Cree Nation Health Centre of Excellence is particularly inspiring to her. The updated facility will bring much-needed healthcare services and technology to Indigenous communities in Manitoba.
When she’s not providing pre-planning and operational readiness services, Shannon likes to stay active with yoga—her favorite pastime that helps her unwind after a busy day.
