Ellen is a geotechnical engineer with over 10 years of experience across a variety of sectors. With a doctorate in geotechnical engineering, she advocates for and enjoys life-long learning, gaining new skills, and solving challenging problems for clients. Working with diverse teams, she also mentors her teammates, providing detailed design recommendations using complex geotechnical methods.
Ellen has knack for numerical modeling and is an asset to our clients for their modeling requirements and needs. Some of her notable projects include the geotechnical design of the Edmonton Valley Line Light Rail Transit, the settlement analysis for the Transmountain Pipeline, numerous flood mitigation embankment design projects, and landfill slope stability assessments.
When she isn’t busy advising on geotechnical matters, you can find Ellen traveling or on the court playing tennis or badminton.
