As a senior application developer, Leah enjoys solving problems and has experience in the environmental engineering and technology fields. She believes her role is important as she can help both internal team members and the community.
Leah supports engineering and geographic information system (GIS) departments in the creation of GIS tools to automate various hydrologic processes. She does so by developing web, desktop, and GIS applications using various technologies and has extensive experience with ESRI ArcMap automation, service-driven web application development, and database design and development. Leah finds FEMA visualization projects particularly notable, as they can be exciting new ways to show flooding dangers through 3D graphics and game engines.
Outside of work, Leah’s hobbies include video games, spending time with her family, trying out breweries, and going on hikes and adventures. She also enjoys a good mystery show, book, or game and anything true crime related.
