During his sophomore year in college, Brett took his first renaissance architecture history course. He was drawn to how architecture has helped us define ourselves, brought communities together, and shaped who we were to become.
At Stantec, Brett assembles project teams and facilitates communication between team members, consultants, and clients. He has more than 15 years of experience, which includes working on several projects with the Lewisville Independent School District (ISD), Highland Park ISD, and McKinney ISD. Blanton Elementary School in Denton ISD was the project that led Brett to dedicate his career to educational architecture. Seeing how excited the kids were climbing all over the built-in benches, swinging around the exposed steel columns, and marveling at the bright colored resin blocks made everything worth it.
Brett enjoys golf, playing with his daughter in the pool, and working on his home. He loves watching his daughter test her limits in the water—he finds her sometimes reckless disregard and ability to learn quickly is inspiring.
