As a Transportation practice leader, Mike brings over 30 years of experience with transportation planning, traffic engineering, safety and operational analysis, innovative design, and signal operations. He’s managed and provided design leadership for projects throughout Georgia and the Southeast.
Working with our national Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) practice, Mike guides our pursuits and project delivery—including coordination with our Generation AV practice and assisting clients with evaluation of connected and autonomous vehicle (C/AV) applications. His approach to project delivery focuses on innovation, constructability, quality, and efficiency.
Mike has a deep commitment to the transportation community. He’s the past president and an active member of the Intelligent Transportation Society of Georgia and past president of the Georgia Section Institute of Transportation Engineers. He enjoys giving back to his profession through mentoring junior staff members and volunteering through several organizations.
