As a senior principal health scientist, Dana is responsible for conducting research, mentoring staff, recruiting, publishing papers, and assisting with the overall running of ChemRisk. She’s known for her expertise in industrial hygiene, risk assessment, exposure assessment, occupational epidemiology, and conducting simulation studies.
Dana loves the collaborative nature of her work and her team’s ability to take a multidisciplinary approach to solve complex problems involving chemicals and human health. Her team is well known for conducting high-end, complex simulation studies that can recreate past, current, or future exposures—they are the gold standard for estimating the range of potential exposure using controlled experimental conditions. Dana is passionate about supporting others in their career development and creating a workplace that prioritizes innovation, teamwork, collaboration, and mentorship.
