With a broad range of experience in designing heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for civic, commercial, and healthcare clients, Rudy focuses on a holistic approach for HVAC design and engineering. Along with mechanical specifications and building codes, he always considers the needs of the people using the system and the comfort of the people inhabiting the building’s environment.
Working on both the client and consultant side, Rudy’s wealth of experience in HVAC design for hospitals across the Pacific Northwest—including Seattle Children's Hospital, Tacoma General Hospital, Kaiser Permanente, and Providence—has resulted in a strong understanding of all aspects of HVAC systems integration in building design for critical-access hospitals. At the core of it all, Rudy is passionate about the opportunity to work with healthcare facilities so they may continue to provide the best patient care.
Always on the lookout for the newest innovations in healthcare mechanical engineering practice, Rudy is an active member of the American Society for Health Care Engineering. When he’s not working, you can find Rudy golfing or salmon fishing on the Puget Sound.
