As a project lead, Amy is involved in all aspects of the planning process, from management and submission of planning applications through to determination. She works across different sectors and scales in the residential, commercial, and leisure sectors with a recent focus on renewable energy projects.
No two projects are the same and Amy likes it that way! She works with many talented people in the built environment, from architects, urban designers, and highway engineers, to ecologists and archaeologists. She’s particularly proud of her work on Murton Park, a new community in North Tyneside with 2,700 new homes and significant infrastructure including a new primary school, metro station, link road, and local shopping center alongside a new, large country park.
When she’s not providing specialist advice, Amy loves to draw. She’s also an avid reader, often taking on two or three books at a time. Recently, she’s discovered the joy of gardening and can easily lose an hour weeding and pottering in her garden.
