Matthew is a dams and hydropower specialist working out of the High Wycombe office, England. With over 25 years of experience, he has worked on projects across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, South America, and the UK. With many of the UK’s dams over 120 years old, he feels that we are all custodians of a heritage that must be protected for future generations.
As a technical specialist, Matthew provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams delivering dam safety, hydropower, pumped storage and water supply projects across the UK and internationally. Appointed to the UK’s All Reservoirs Panel of engineers, he conducts dam safety inspections and oversees upgrades to aging dams across England, Wales, and Scotland. He advises many of the major UK dam owners and also serves on expert dam safety panels.
