A water resources engineer, Eric has experience in both private industry as a consulting engineer and in academia as a researcher and educator. In his current position, he works to help water providers, water users, water managers, and water regulators make better long-term strategic decisions about water.
Eric has specific expertise in water resources planning and management, with a focus on water supply and availability analyses, studies of climate variability and climate impacts, water supply risk assessment, water supply for data centers and advanced manufacturing, and drought assessment and planning for federal, state, municipal, and private clients.
Before joining Stantec, Eric was a faculty member and researcher at the University of Texas at Austin. When he isn’t applying his skills to big water questions, you might find Eric enjoying the Colorado outdoors with his wife and their two young children or training for and racing long-distance triathlons (Ironman).
