Tania has always loved spending time outdoors. When hiking trails or exploring parks, she often wondered how she could share her passion and transform a simple space into a place that could truly benefit a community. Then she realized landscape architecture could help her realize that dream and she found where she belonged.
Now, Tania specializes in sports and recreation projects. She gets excited about supporting the outdoor community by creating recreational areas where they didn’t exist before—such as the Bee Creek Sports Complex in Travis County, Texas. She revels in the construction administration aspect of these projects and the challenge of creatively solving problems as they arise, especially when it comes to fine-tuning technical details and optimizing them for each space and use.
As one of the few women specializing in sports and recreation landscape architecture in the region, Tania enjoys mentoring designers and hopes to spread enthusiasm for her chosen specialty. In her spare time, she likes to discover new parks with her husband and their four Great Danes.
