With over 23 years of experience working on a wide range of project types (and the last eight year specialized in the education sector), Al isn’t just a talented architect, he’s also an engaged leader—actively coaching and supporting the career development of his staff. Outside of education facilities design, Al is also responsible for maintaining professional standards and best practices, finding the right staff for the right projects, and creating and implementing new methodologies that support our clients’ needs.
Recently, as senior project architect for the Veterinary and Biomedical Education Building at Texas A&M University, Al managed an architectural team spread across seven cities and supplemented with external consultants. It was a challenging and rewarding project, capped off pleasantly with a glowing letter of recommendation from the dean, Dr. Green.
When Al isn’t running teams or designing tomorrow’s education facilities, he’s spending time with his family. Al’s son is in the boy scouts, and Al serves as the troop’s assistant scoutmaster.
