Robert’s expertise in geotechnical engineering means he knows how to lay the groundwork for successful project management and completion. He has applied his technical skills to the analysis, design, and construction of numerous complex civil and marine engineering projects across the Southeast. While any project can have multiple solutions, for Robert it’s important to listen and understand the client’s key drivers.
He is proud to have responsibility for project management, planning and coordinating of geotechnical investigations and laboratory testing programs, construction quality assurance management, erosion assessments, and slope stability and seepage analyses of lock and dam systems for various clients. One project closest to his heart is Lock and Dam 10 on the Kentucky River. This project gave him the chance to secure the water supply for the very community in which he and his family live.
With a passion for new experiences, working with new people, and solving new challenges, he knows the value of the one thing that holds everything together—relationships. Away from work, one of Robert’s favorite pastimes is fishing with his family.
