Paul’s extensive design and construction engineering experience includes a wide array of transportation projects, and he has significant experience working for contractors on the design of complex construction engineering and design-build projects. Paul heads our marine design and bridge group in Southern New England.
Recently, he’s been hip-deep on two exciting projects of note. Paul and his team are working on a major bulkhead repair project at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery Maine—a technically challenging project that required extensive interface with a number of the client’s operations groups.
On the bridge side, Paul is looking forward to the successful completion of the historic Anderson Memorial Bridge over the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts that connects Harvard University’s main campus with the athletic complex. Slated to be completed in the fall of 2016, this iconic three-span arch bridge is over 100 years old, and the rehabilitation will replicate the bridge’s original ornate brick and cast stone façade.
When he’s not working, Paul enjoys spending time on Cape Cod with his family and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.
