As a principal and architect with over 30 years of experience, David has worked on a range of transit and infrastructure projects, many of which involved public engagement and public or First Nations art components. David’s broader experience spans across airports, rapid transit stations, industrial facilities, retail, cultural, residential, and water treatment infrastructure projects. This provides him with a broad understanding of urbanism and design, enabling him to foster collaborative links across several typologies.
David strives to design projects and facilities that are suitable and sympathetic to their local context while being inviting, safe, durable, and operationally effective. He has served as the lead architect for the owner’s engineering team on major infrastructure projects including the Capital Regional District Wastewater Treatment Plant and the Translink Broadway Subway Advanced Light Rapid Transit expansion.
Aside from crafting sustainable and responsive solutions, David enjoys spending time with his family on mountain biking trails and ski hills.
