With 16 years of experience in archaeology and project management, Esme has served as a project manager, cultural task lead, field technician coordinator, and supervisor. She enjoys working with communities and clients to promote the preservation of cultural resources.
Esme has performed archival research, mapping, archaeological excavation, and laboratory analysis in Egypt, Greece, Bulgaria, England, Arizona, California, and on the island of O‘ahu, Hawai‘i. She authors cultural resources documents including cultural resource constraints, monitoring, and survey reports, as well as maintains internet-based databases. Esme specializes in large utility cultural compliance support—she has experience with cultural resources throughout the state of California working with companies in the power sector. Additionally, she is passionate about building teams and seeing the implementation of good project management.
Outside of work, Esme enjoys traveling, reading biographies and historical non-fiction, cooking, and finding new and exciting teas to sample.
