A seasoned engineer, Işıl has participated in various environmental projects throughout Türkiye over the course of her career. She’s worked on the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline, TurkStream, and several European Union technical assistance and consultancy projects for wastewater treatment plants for municipalities throughout the country--specializing in environmental assessments, monitoring activities, and management plans.
Işıl prepares environmental eligibility tests for projects under the Turkey Sustainable Energy Finance Facility and the Green Economy Financing Facility Türkiye. She works on projects funded by the World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, performing environmental assessments of over 800 sub-projects with small and medium enterprises. Additionally, she provides health, safety, security and environment support, leveraging her Turkish occupational health and safety expert certificate.
When she’s not conducting environmental assessments, Işıl loves being outside and going for walks, and spending time with friends and family.
