Inspired by an early interest in problem-solving, science, and technology, Mike began his career after job shadowing at an engineering firm in high school, which led to a summer internship and full-time role after college. That firm was later acquired by Stantec, where he’s continued to grow his career ever since.
With more than 25 years of experience in program management for hydrology and hydraulic risk assessments and mapping projects, Mike has dedicated his professional life to reducing the loss of life and property from flooding, particularly in Kentucky. He primarily serves as a leader for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) programs in our Kentucky offices and as an account manager for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. In his current role, he is also a program manager for FEMA Risk Map and Kentucky Division of Water projects, principal and office leader, and team lead for our Water and River Hydraulics group.
Away from work, Mike enjoys spending time with his family in the outdoors, and cheering on the Wildcats.
