Mark is a senior project architect with a diversified background in both private and public sector projects. With over 35 years of professional design experience, he’s a successful project manager and designer dedicated to a team concept while maintaining awareness of client and user group needs. He’s carried out functional analysis and programming, options development and analysis, architectural design, and provided construction phase services.
His architectural design approach establishes solutions that are unique and responsive to the site environment, client culture, and building program. As a stakeholder session facilitator, Mark has reviewed architectural design concepts and obtained consensus on design. He’s managed large-scale projects in an integrated consultant group setting, preparing site design, master planning concepts, building programs, and conceptual and detailed building designs as well as directly overseeing full construction document production and technical specifications preparation. Mark is also a LEED accredited professional and pursues appropriate sustainability initiatives for each of his projects.
An avid cyclist, Mark enjoys exploring both urban and natural bike paths in the pursuit of physical and mental wellbeing. He also collects West Coast native art and enjoys attending live theatre and sporting events.
