Jorge has spent more than three decades transforming California’s infrastructure—most importantly through his work with the California High-Speed Rail (CAHSR) Authority. This has given him a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in every stage of infrastructure project delivery and how each one impacts the successful delivery of the next. His expertise in writing procedures for stage project delivery and configuration management, combined with his in-depth knowledge of every segment along the CAHSR corridor, sets him apart.
As a transportation strategist, Jorge has a passion for designing infrastructure in his home state. It's this passion which fuels his commitment to these essential projects. He has established strong working relationships with key partners from the Federal Highway Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, Federal Railroad Administration, and Federal Aviation Administration, to coastal commissions, environmental agencies, local governments, and legislative affairs.
When he’s not developing transportation strategies, Jorge loves traveling on high-speed rails and trains around the world.
