For over 40 years, Martin has dedicated his career to the planning and design of technically complex research, development, and manufacturing facilities for both public and private clients. As senior principal, laboratory planner and architect, he has served corporate, higher education, and institutional clients—drawing on his knowledge and experience in the planning and design of a wide range of science- and technology-related projects.
Examples of Martin’s projects include the IBM Almaden Research Center, University of California (UC) Irvine Reines Hall, UC San Francisco Helen Diller Cancer Research Center, the Stanford Sarafen ChEM-H and the Wu Tsai Neurosciences Institute Building, and the Gilead Pre-Clinical Research Center.
