Paula has led teams in the transportation, energy, water, planning, buildings, survey, utility coordination, and site civil sectors with small and global firms across multiple states for over 30 years. She’s led operations and business development, acquisition integrations, and reorganization efforts while building inclusive teams that serve both clients and communities.
With a strong passion for the built environment—and with her technical expertise that spans community development and transportation—Paula brings a big picture perspective to her teams. Across her career, she has designed and led aviation projects and local agency projects as well as intersection improvement, interchange, and road reconstruction projects for multiple states’ departments of transportation. She’s been involved in some of the largest light rail projects in the country as well as community development projects for education, hospitals, commercial, industrial, residential, and multi-use redevelopments.
When she’s relaxing, you might find Paula playing classical piano, abstract painting, reading, working out, playing with her dachshunds, or going to the symphony, orchestra, or museums. But her first love is spending time with her family—her husband Bob and their daughter Emma, whom is in DC and is an IP attorney.
