Augusto believes that, to understand a client’s needs, you need to take a wide perspective. You need to understand the business, practice active listening, and engage in fluid dialogue—it’s not only about the technical services. His responsibilities? Augusto oversees mining projects in Argentina and manages a portfolio of mining clients.
As a civil engineer and project manager, Augusto leads and coordinates multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable infrastructure projects for public and private clients. He has a background in water and sewer networks design, operation, and maintenance as well as road construction and real estate development. In his more than three decades of experience in engineering project management, he’s worked on a variety of projects including the successive growths of the Manantial Espejo tailings dam—which he particularly enjoyed because of the combination of site visits and office work. His next big goal? To lead engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) projects.
When he isn’t working on sustainable engineering projects that focus on quality of life and the environment, you might find Augusto sailing his 23-foot monohull on the River Plate or playing guitar, typically Argentine folk music or old Argentine rock.
