While Graham’s title is senior integrity engineer, it is the integrity of his work that is most important to him. Through comprehensive engineering and risk assessments, in-line inspection analyses, and hazard identification studies, he values the role his work plays in keeping Canada’s energy infrastructure safe and reliable.
Graham is driven to be part of a proactive, solution-focused approach—whether it is a regulatory requirement or part of an audit. A great example of this is when he developed a comprehensive assessment plan to evaluate pinhole corrosion on a pipeline and then created an in-depth mitigation strategy to prevent future feature growth.
When not working, Graham’s other passion is martial arts—he’s now in his 30th year and competed in the kobudo world tournament in Okinawa. In the summer, you may find him taking a swim off the beautiful coast of Nanaimo, BC.
