Serving as a principal for Defense Ports, Robert is also the waterfront technical leader for our Transportation team. He enjoys developing teams where everyone meets their fullest potential, and no problem cannot be overcome. He will be a project manager supporting federal services and working with the Naval Shipyard Campaign.
Robert enjoys engaging in all aspects of facilities projects from idea generation and concept designs to final design and construction. Prior to joining Stantec, he served as department head at two naval shipyards over a 36-year career. Eager to take on tough challenges, Robert led lifting and handling departments, production departments, special emphasis operations, and completed his shipyard career executing facilities and equipment procurement, maintenance, and demolition.
When not working, Robert enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, hiking in the woods, and sitting by a campfire. He also supports a STEM program for Portsmouth Public Schools called STARBASE Victory, providing hands on education opportunities for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students.
