Krista is a civil engineer focusing on municipal infrastructure design and management across Atlantic Canada. She specializes in water resource management, civil services, project management, and waste management. No matter the scale of the project, Krista enjoys developing innovative solutions for the unique issues each project presents. She welcomes opportunities for collaboration between disciplines that enhance the team environment, and she enjoys these opportunities to learn from and to mentor others.
Krista considers every project local—with impacts and outcomes that are important to end-users and those living in the community. Among projects she is proud of are coordinating designs for wastewater treatment solutions with schools on Prince Edward Island and developing the designs and civil site plans for a school in New Brunswick. Here she coordinated with several disciplines to design the site servicing plan, utility servicing, playing field, parking lot, and bus route access. She also enjoyed the intense collaboration needed to deliver solutions for the project’s complex stormwater model analysis and site grading conditions.
Outside of the office, Krista can be found playing curling at the local ice rink or exploring hiking trails with her family and dogs.
