Hassan is a professional engineer with over 27 years of experience in power systems, generation, renewable energy, battery energy storage, transmission, and distribution projects. Out of Markham, Ontario, he uses his strong theoretical background to provide calculations, conceptual design, system studies, financial evaluations of alternatives, system planning, and more.
With a master’s degree in power engineering, Hassan also engages in bid evaluation, final design, witness of factory testing, work procedures, and the preparation of the technical specifications. He’s also apt in pre-service inspections, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and various site investigations.
Hassan plans, organizes, schedules, and coordinates efforts to ensure success on each project he’s involved in, and he’s great at assigning tasks and providing instruction or insight. Right now, he’s serving as the lead protection and control engineer for the Maritime 138kv Cable Interconnection project, which plans to bridge power lines between Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
