Kristie is a senior electrical design engineer with experience in renewable energy and generator design. She provides electrical design analysis of electrical systems and engineering services that include on-site construction inspections. Kristie has designed stand-by and emergency generators, electric vehicle chargers, and battery energy storage systems. Additionally, she has provided lighting design and analysis, as well as fire alarm and security system design.
Over the course of her career, Kristie has served as a project engineer for over one gigawatt in renewable photovoltaic design. She has worked as a resident engineer for the installation of a black start diesel generator, 345 kilovolt switchyard, and two megawatts of carport and rooftop solar. She also worked with Penn State University, as the electrical lead in partnership with Lightsource BP on contributing to one of the largest solar projects in the state.
When she’s not busy designing electrical systems, Kristie enjoys both playing and watching soccer. She also cherishes spending time with her long-term partner and their dogs. With a passion for traveling, she and her partner dream of visiting all the Disney parks someday.
