Known for being friendly and helpful, Kaan is a junior engineer based out of Türkiye. There, he’s been involved in projects of all sizes, focusing mainly on energy and resource efficiency, what’s required to achieve it, and the benefits it can provide.
Working primarily as an energy engineer and consultant, Kaan is also grateful for his background in environmental engineering. Climate change is a very important problem, and he’s proud to work on projects that will benefit the fight against it and lead us towards a greener future.
In addition to his role as a junior engineer, Kaan is one of the co-leaders of our Developing Professionals Group (DPG) in Türkiye. Since Stantec is a global company, he’s always in contact with employees in offices around the world—he finds it a pleasure to meet people from different cultures.
When he’s not working, you’ll find Kaan playing and watching basketball. He also loves spending time with his cat at home.
