As a project manager with our Site Assessment and Remediation team, Leslie works on Phase One and Two environmental site assessments reporting associated with excess soils regulation. Bringing her background in geology and hydrogeology to her role, she is most known for environmental site assessment, project management, and contaminant hydrogeology.
In her work with our multidisciplinary teams, Leslie develops conceptual site models and manages long-term contaminated site groundwater monitoring programs. To support remedial efforts and decision-making, she worked on the development of a conceptual site model for a site in southern Ontario impacted with an emerging contaminant, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). Creating a conceptual site model involved review, synthesis, and analysis and interpretation of over thirty years of environmental data, previous assessments, and environmental reports, along with incorporating newer data and reporting.
Whether it’s assessing sites or monitoring groundwater, Leslie enjoys getting outside, going for a run or a hike. She also likes traveling abroad.
