We often expect those working in public buildings, such as schools and civic buildings, to set an example of service to the community. But what about the buildings themselves? Danielle, a project architect with expertise in sustainability aims for them to do exactly that.
Danielle takes pride in seeing the broader scope of the projects she works on. She believes that the word “sustainability” is often said by different team members, and stakeholders, in different ways with various meanings—such as, return on investment, resiliency, or equity. With this in mind, she sees communication as vital to creating a focused team, able to address client needs cohesively.
She enjoys the challenges of her profession, working on projects that have an impact in communities, and discovering new ways to enhance sustainability. While for her, work is all-consuming, she does remember to carve out some time to relax tending her organic garden.
